(A summary of my previous posts about waszupp)
I was introduced two weeks ago to a new crowdfunding initiative that sounds really interesting (waszupp crowdfunding). It follows in the footsteps of kickstarter and gofundme and the likes, but you don't have to define a specific project and try to market that. Instead it relies on building a social structure and everyone who joins gives a one-time $35 donation (in bitcoin), of which a portion goes to a shared charity fund and the rest is then divided between the people who joined before. Each person should then find three others to donate as well. It hasn't gone public yet but I was able to join already by invitation and I have 5 places available for others to join before it is opened to the public soon in mid October 2017. With initiatives like this it is most important to join as early as possible before the masses so whoever joins now is in a great position to receive a decent sum of money to use for their own good-will purposes.
