in water-art •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hi guys,

we already made quite interesting tutorials under @water-art group, and by we I mean @marty-arts, @jnart and myself.
If you are following our project you can see that quite journey already has been made in teaching and learning watercolor from very beginning.

Today I wanted to share with you something rather simple but effective, and I think each of you can play with.
Now days many product come in those cute bottles with gentle spray that we can use in a good way for colors.
In three part video I will show you what you can achieve with three simple tools and some color.

It's background made with those tools, easy to make and also can be used in so many ways. As a single watercolor or background for adding some ink drawings, pencil drawings or what ever your imagination make you do.

In first part you will see spray and leaves use on Fabriano cotton paper. No specific subject was chosen here to work on,
just simple play with colors.

Second part was about adding brush strokes, and making layers after drying first part.
And finishing piece with adding some sponge moments.

This has been such an eye-opener for me because watercolour painting has just been about brush on canvas until I have seen so many new and interesting ideas of what you can do when you have the knowledge and skills to use different techniques and materials!

That's great @plushzilla, that was our main idea, to show what you can do with watercolors and how wide range that technique has.
I am glad you enjoyed this one :)
