Cape Town rates-paying residents may have heard/read about the proposed rates increase(Feb 2018) to pay for the consequences of poor management of water services in the City over recent years.
This post is to encourage all who decide to comment, by way of replying to the notification email sent out by the City of Cape Town municipality, to place your comment here first and then link to it in your reply-email to the municipality.
This way the comment can be read by the municipality as well as other commenters, with the extremely high assurance it won't be altered, misconstrued or misreported.
This is in the spirit of blockchain technology(steemit, in this case) which for the first time brings individuals true transparency in communication with State agencies, whilst still remaining optional. If you want your comment to remain private, go ahead and a) simply don't post it here, or b) post it here using an anonymous account.
