Water renewable!!

What % of the world's population is under the false impression that water is a non renewable resource. I have just finished reading articles' by students, who are convinced that water is non renewable.
This fallacy is promoted by the "ELITE", and the governments and so called "LEARNED" people they control.
I am an Australian, which is supposedly the driest continent on Earth. One would think that it would be hard to find water in Australia; cattle farmers in the "outback" have drilled down to the water-table to provide for their cattle, and in some instances, for themselves.
A top class engineer by the name of J.J. Bradfield, who designed and was consultant on the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, put forward to the Australian Government, a plan to keep Lake Eyre full all the time, by damming three rivers, the Clarence river in NSW and two Queensland rivers, namely the Burnett river and Coopers Creek[Lake Eyre is a huge lake in central Australia, but only fills occasionally in very wet seasons]. He suggested that it would change the climate of 10% of the continent, and therefore would make living in the region, on a permanent basis, realistic.

The government of course, rejected the idea; the only possible reason to reject his plan, was in my opinion, was POPULATION CONTROL.
In Western Australia there is a massive man made lake called Lake Argyle, which is fed by the Ord River. This particular body of water, is 22 times the volume of Sydney Harbour. Is it used for household purposes? NO, it just sits there in a very remote area of Western Australia.
A few years ago, on the north eastern part of Australia, we had a long and severe drought. A number of the water storage dams were running short of water, and it was suggested that the water from Lake Argyle could be pumped over in large pipes. Again it was rejected by the Federal Government, on account it would be too expensive. I have often thought since, that had it been OIL, it would have happened without a second thought.
Securing potable water for the populace is not something that Governments around the world are keen on! POPULATION CONTROL.
