This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. I love to spend time next to the river 
This is Bald River Falls.
It is only a short walk off the side of the road to the top of the waterfall. There is a trail along Bald River and several cascades.
There is great trout fishing in the area. There is a trout hatchery located here also and from around March to September rainbow trout are stocked weekly. Here is a picture from the hatchery. 
There a several campgrounds located along the river for primitive camping all the way to spot with electricity and water for motor homes and campers. Primitive campgrounds are free and rv spots are very cheap around $7-$10 a day. If you live in the south east United States and enjoy the outdoors it's worth the drive.
