The pond lily is a star and easily takes the first place among lilies. And the expeditions to her haunts, and the gathering her where she rocks upon thr dark, secluded waters of some pool or lakelet, are the crown and summit of the floral expeditions of summer. I think that the best kind of chnge the, is the change that comes from the inside and begins its way out until it emerges on the outside. Like the lily, changing into something glorious it is actually becoming who they are. A water lily is born underneath the water, and water lily always been a water for the whole time it was sprouting out of the wet soil...
