Amazing week indeed! We’ve seen some volatility to the upside and since it’s almost the last Friday of the month, January we must expect there will be some volatility to the downside.
The reason behind this is because Futures Contracts expiration is every last Friday of the month.
For that reason, most institutions/retail would have to close their positions and re-enter again causing volatility to the market. Which is actually a good thing!
