Waves: worth the investment?

There is a lot in the news about Waves lately.
But what is it used for? and will it rise in the near future?

Waves is a decentralized financial trading platform invented at the beginning of 2016 and built on its own blockchain with custom tokens being its main feature.
With other words: if you have a brilliant token idea, you can make a coin on Waves.
The concept is excellent, Waves' ICO was sold out in 6 hours!

The supply max is 100 million WAVES, looking at the circulation supply of other coins, 100 million is a good move to let the value rise.

On 2 june 2016 the value of one coin was $1.33. then it went to $0.23 for a while untill it was discovered; its value in june 2017 went up to $6.83!
While writing this article waves has dropped to $4.50. There is a downward trend but I believe this will flip in a moment.

Burger King is also making profit of the popularity of Waves: they issued a token called Whoppercoin, one Whopper costing 1700 Whoppercoins.

Saying that the chinese exchange Binance holds a vote to add Waves to ther platform.

If this will happen, I see a big pump for Waves.
