Christian reflection: Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity

The apostle Paul in his epistle to the Colossians told us about the importance of being wise and living with wisdom. And this is very important, because this wisdom to which he referred is not a form of the virtue of prudence, nor of justice. Prudence makes us similar to men who with their practical sense and intelligence have solved important problems, but wisdom is different and superior, because it makes us similar to God: "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect" Matthew 5:48.
Wisdom is a consequence of the perfecting of the fear of God in the heart of man, that is why wisdom implies a much deeper inner development than prudence. The fear of God is constancy, firmness, devotion, equanimity, and stability.
Wisdom implies the deepest understanding of the problems of life and the mysteries of the universe, a person who acts with wisdom does so by understanding the meaning of life, and accepting with an equal spirit both the good and the bad that this brings with it. Life is a challenge and we have to be people prepared for everything in life, the ability to take advantage of the bad that is presented to get a good out of it is fundamental in human beings, and this is one of the reasons why God allows the wickedness. That is why Paul left us a christian reflection: "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity" Colossians 4:5.
And after this teaching, Paul expressed something else: "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone" Colossians 4:6. We must be correct in all our conversations, avoiding error and selfishness, without bringing violence to others, this is what Paul emphasized to us.
