Hi steemit friends first of all i wish you all a very happy and healthy new year! Friends we are starting a new year of our life as well as we all are planning our new life style for our new year, Example,we are thinking that i will start a new journey of my life from this new year I will change everything, I will work lot's more, will read books, will do a healthy diet etc. But in reality 92% people gonna fail to do so. And a biggest reason of that is the influence of movies, where we see a hero who was normal in the start of this movie just like us, and the suddenly he starts work very hard and before end of the movie the hero become a champion in 2 or 3 hours, by seen all of this we thought that we also can do those what we have seen in movie. But maximum time it won't be possible. As example some years ago i have been seen a action movie and i had decided that i will do a healthy diet and do exercise daily but next day i had lost all of my motivation.

Well today I am going to tell you about a very easy and effective way to make actually change in your life, complete your resolutions and build a long lasting good habits. Which are very important to complete your goals and archive success. So let's began.

Stupid small- one day author had decided that he will do workout for 30min everyday. But even after using great effort and motivation he couldn't able to achieve this goal. Then he decide that he will do only one push up daily rather than 30min workout and started complete this goals. After few day's why he felt it very easy so he starts increase the time of his workout day by day and ultimately got achieve his original goal. During this journey he understand that our approach for building habits is wrong. If we really want to build a habit then we have to set a stupid small goal, as example if we have a goal to read 1 hours of a book everyday then for first few days set a goal to read 1 paragraph or 1 page regularly and complete that rather than reading 1 hour daily. We have to remember one thing that our mini goals should to be that much easy that the chance of failure remains near 0%.

Usually we starts try very hard things what's need a hi willpower and hi energy to do on the other hands if we set a mini goals and practice it regularly then it become a habit more easily and we can increase it's time or effort as well.

Newton’s first law: I think we all know the first law of newton “ The object at rest stays at rest and the object which is in motion stays in motion until an external force applied” example, if a ball stays at any where then it will stay there until any external force applied in it, in other side if we kick a ball in space the ball will never stop until an external force applied. Now just like the newton's first law our havitational condition is something like this-

According to the author when we are taking rest for the moment to stay in rest mode is easier and normal for us but if we need to go into motion mode the we have to take an action. But the main problem is going from rest mode to motion mode. It is the harshest part of this equation even according to physics as well example, maximum amount of fuel of a rocket spend at the time of take off but after getting out from the gravitational pull of the earth a very small amount of fuel uses for it's movement in space.

Now the special thing of this mini habits is that if you stays in rest mode and we are thinking that we will do work out or read a book for 1 hour then it will be very difficult for us. But if we think like we have to do one push up or have to read 1 paragraph of a book then it will be like going 0 to 1 what is very easy for us rather than going 0 to 100 in one step, and that is the best and easiest way to get motion mode from rest mode by not spending too much mental and physical efforts. On the other side if we see the if we complete our mini goal to get into motion state then we feel like a winner and our brain gets positive affirmation which is very important to make form a permanent habit.

Ego depletion- we all know our willpower is like a battery which is full at start but when it starts use for different works then it become low and then a work which consume excess willpower is very difficult to do for us. As example if you decided you will do half an hour meditation everyday, now one day you have get out of home from morning and came at evening and you feel very tired then you can't do meditation for 30min, but if you think u will do meditation for at least 30 seconds then you never miss your meditation because you don't need any willpower to do it.

Continuity- Now I think we all understood that we have to do small stupid thing to create a habit and complete resolutions but now the question is how much time will take to make a permanent habit? Well some people says we need 30 days to form a habit but the biggest thing in this mini habit theory is we don't need to count days or wait for building habit because those small and stupid habits will be that much easy that there will be no chance to break it's continuity.
