People don't border to read posts on steemit, they just go ahead to up vote the posts from people of their interests and this negligence act had made us lose many knowledge we should have gained in good articles posted on this platform.
WE DON'T READ THE COMMENTS IN POSTS
You might spend plenty nights trying to compose a good and educative post and yet not getting good upvote. However, with what I may call nonesense post, you may be lifted with plenty upvotes. Yes! That is the reality. I felt discouraged when I saw a particular post sometimes ago on this platform with more than five hundred votes, I was like: "how?". Am not being jealous, so don't get me wrong.
The fact remains that nobody or very negligible percentage of steemians cares to read your efforts and upvote. The contents in the posts, must time, is not our problems. Sometimes, we even upvote posts that we didn't read the topic at all let alone reading the voluminous work. Is this the right practice? Does this follows the objectives of this medium? The questions are thrown to the entire Steemians to answer. I know as I say this, many good writers in the platform are really moved as there has not been any return for their geat efforts to educate people via this platform. Hmmmm! Can we really relate this act to partiality or selfishness or laziness or matter of interest or what? Which ever case it may be, it is important to note that ignoring reading posts is not better than ignoring knowledge.
SELFISH READERS
Another problem is when someone read ur beautiful post and gained knowledge from it but selfishly ignore up voting this post that has imparted on his/her knowledge. What a selfish attitude has bitten to our marrow? Why do we fail to reciprocate good things? But we easily reply bad things without wasting time. If you are doubting it, let someone post abusive word, you will hear people saying: "your father!" "your mother!"
IF YOU CAN REALIZE WHAT YOU HAVE MISSED, U WILL START TO READ POSTS
As a mother of fact, every post has its own information to offer to the readers. We have a lot of things to learn here on Sreemit. I can't quantify what I've learned here as a result of detail reading. I have always have the time to read posts. I feel happy when I see remarkable posts here. I must say more power to the elbows of the hardworking Steemians.
OBSERVATION
I lot of talents have discouraged in this forum, saying no value for their efforts. I won't blame them anyway because it takes time and a lot of calories to create nice posts and it indirectly cost money to upload. All these resources are expensive.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommend that we should learn to compose good and educative articles to be posted on steemit and also practice the habit of reading posts and appreciate them in the language of steemit, that is, we should upvote, follow and make motivational comments. There are a lot of knowledgeable posts on this platform that can help us. Remember that no knowledge is lost.
