BitCoin Vs Ethereum what's all that about?

Some sources now saying that there are some major players including a big cyber security company that is now starting to mine Ethereum alongside Bitcoin. Well to be honest that is no big surprise. We are all very excited about some of the recent jaw dropping news articles which are predicting big things on the horizon for a number of major crypto currencies. The main players being Bitcoin and Ethereum. Well that's until the likes of Casper arrive in any case.

Ethereum is Up 4000% This Year, and we all want some. What's the best way to get involved and mine Ethereum! That's what a lot people are sitting there thinking at the moment.

I have found it very difficult to understand the concept of Ethereum with the smart contract features. Dont get me wrong it's is amazing stuff, worrying when we look at films like terminator and the super computer in that though. I have seen Ethereum and Bitcoin been placed as rivals but can't understand why. Ethereum is not designed to be a crypto currency it's technically more superior than than that.

Are they rival cryptocurrencies and Blockchains ? When you research Bitcoin it's design is to store value and was developed to evolve into a global, peer to peer decentralized and transparent digital currency.

Ethereum was designed to provide an ecosystem for decentralized applications and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).

Ethereum and Bitcoin and basically night and day and could not be more different.

Reading a recent post, Ethereum offers a smart contract-based protocol which prioritizes flexibility while Bitcoin offers a secure store of value that can be used as money.

The exciting thing is that there seems to be a massive amount of interest in both and the world’s elite are rumoured to be now hungry for Ethereum. Do they know something we don't?

I think the only people who are not excited by all this crypto is the banks. Still when they start closing banks down they do make fantastic converted venues for bars and restaurants so it's not all bad.

Armed with my Coinbase App I am now addicted to checking the prices of crypto currencies waiting for that breakthrough moment that I no longer need to go to work. Looking at want Crypto has achieved in such a short space of time, I can't wait to see what's further down the line and for one am very excited.
