Wealth is a mindset and when we change our mindset we change our wealth.
It took me a long time to realize how wealthy I actually was. I struggled with the thought that being wealthy didn't actually mean that I needed to acquire everything for myself.
I continuously felt lacking because the house I lived in was not mine and I was not paying for the car I drove. I was not used to not providing for myself. I was not open to accepting God giving me the things I wanted or needed without having to quote and quote work for it. I struggled with accepting the knowledge that what we have at all times is truly our inheritance from God.
I have not worked in nearly 4 years and even though I made substantially good money when I worked I now feel wealthier than ever. The reason that I feel wealthier is because I am open to letting God provide everything that I need. I am open to accepting and claiming everything that is provided for me as my own wealth.
The other reason is because not working allowed me to change my mindset. When I was working, I couldn't pay to have more time with my family. I couldn't pay to have the time to make healthy food to keep my family healthy. Now that I am not working I can afford to be at every family event. I can afford to drop off and pick up my kids from school. I can afford to be there for my family in the things that matter most.
So, I am not saying quit your job. All I am saying is that it doesn't matter how much or how little money you make because "Wealth" is a state of mind.
If you have a roof over your head, a bed or maybe a couch to sleep on, food to eat, and maybe even enough for a cup of coffee from Starbucks every morning, CONGRATULATIONS you are wealthy and blessed.
Maybe where you live does not belong to you and you would like to purchase your own place. Maybe the food you eat is purchased or provided by someone else. Or maybe you just want more. No matter what the situation may be the important thing is that you already have the essential things you need. And God is already taking care of you. Claim everything that you have or that is provided for you as your own wealth, because that it exactly what it is. When you fully accept those things which are provided for you as your own the sooner you will see how much more God will provide for you.
Wealth is not about having more or too much of anything. WEALTH IS HAVING WHAT YOU NEED, WHEN YOU NEED IT. Wealth is appreciating everything that you have. Everything that you can afford to buy and everything that is given to you.
The best way to get everything that your heart desires is to believe that God will provide it for you.
I challenge you to enjoy the things that you have in a way that brings happiness and be gracious for it. Gratitude in itself can be liberating and life changing.
When you fully comprehend your situation in the present moment you can free yourself to know that you already have everything that makes you wealthy.
