The wisdom of Jesus: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Our Lord Jesus with his words gave to mankind relief and hope in a better future, Jesus is wise, meek, and merciful. With love and a very special wisdom he taught us that we must follow him if we want to lead a calm and serene life, without oppression and without "stumbling blocks" on the way:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" Matthew 11:28-30.
And he taught this to show the freedom of the Kingdom of God, the empire of God's perfections, against the oppression of the Pharisees and the Sadducees, who imposed a large number of rigid rules on the people, rules that at some point were impossible to fully comply with; and about this Jesus gave us a simple example, what we do when life opposes the law, specifically the third commandment: "If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?" Luke 14:5. For this practical problem, Jesus taught us that the Kingdom of God is true, it is the way, and it is life in John 14:6. We cannot for a matter of common sense put the law upon life.
The Kingdom of God is an invitation to a new life, the life of the spirit that leads us to eternal life; the law of Moses does not justify us, nor does it free us from the slavery of sin. When we understand that when we live the spiritual gifts of Christ, gifts such as mercy (compassion, kindness), continuous improvement, righteousness (golden rule, Matthew 7:12), perseverance, we are increasing happiness, joy and decreasing suffering, not only in others but also within ourselves, is when we understand the true message of Jesus.
