Weather and climate

in weather •  6 years ago

The terms can confuse people. The difference between weather and climate is basically the long-term availability of both.

The weather can often be described as the atmospheric state of a place for a short time. Climate is a combination of all these conditions over a really long period of time.

So basically the weather is a short-term version of environmental conditions, and the climate is a long-term counterpart.

They both provide a large amount of statistical data that helps us clearly identify and predict the conditions of our environment, but in all statistical climate data it is more difficult to collect than the weather.
