TS Dorian Satellite Imagery

We have TS Dorian which when the Hurricane Hunters airplane comes back out and the NHC makes its official 11am Public Service announcement I am betting it will be a Cat 1. Dorian has fought off dry air for 3 days and continued to grow and organize in conditions that say its impossible to do. It's made a track that will not go over the PR and DR high mountain ridge that would have torn it apart.

There are a lot of different model runs that take it anywhere from South Florida to North Carolina. Most consensus says mid florida east coast touch down. The new GFS version puts it way north and I have not been able to rely on the new GFS model loops. However the old GFS and the Euro put it touching down on the Mid Florida coast line.

Multiple Track Guidance

I've lived in Florida my entire life. I've been thru over 3 decades of storms including the Cat 5 Andrew in 1992 which leveled out South Florida. I've seen hurricanes go from a Tropical Storm to a Major Hurricane in just a few hours. I've seen them switch tracks at the very last moment (like Andrew).
