Centralized social media vs Decentralized social media AKA Steemit vs Facebook

in web •  6 years ago

The reason I spend a lot of my time promoting steemit is because its better in every aspect than facebook. And it boggles my mind why majority of people who have a Facebook wish zero privacy in there lives as they basically post everything their doing in their lifes. and dont get me wrong that is okay but facebook has been harvesting all your data that you and its users post ever since it was created. That's how its grown to be as big as its become, You are its product. They make millions selling all your data you post to the highest bidder.(Advertising agencies). That use your data( your interests and likes based on your posts) from facebook to sell u their own products . Which is apparently fine for most people. But now theres an alternative. ALL HAIL STEEMIT . one which not only do you fully control everything you post and express. But you get paid for curating great content. Like its your data, its you contributing to the success on the platform so its only right for u to be incentivized to make good content that people enjoy. Instead of a centralized Facebook that makes money on off every single user it has. That's the glory and perks of Decentralization and social media that built on an immutable blockchain.

Have you heard about Partiko? It’s a really convenient mobile app for Steem! With Partiko, you can easily see what’s going on in the Steem community, make posts and comments (no beneficiary cut forever!), and always stayed connected with your followers via push notification!

Partiko also rewards you with Partiko Points (3000 Partiko Point bonus when you first use it!), and Partiko Points can be converted into Steem tokens. You can earn Partiko Points easily by making posts and comments using Partiko.

We also noticed that your Steem Power is low. We will be very happy to delegate 15 Steem Power to you once you have made a post using Partiko! With more Steem Power, you can make more posts and comments, and earn more rewards!
