I was vaguely aware of Steemit which most of acquaintances were more familiar with Valve's Steam, so when I went to a recent Philadelphia Crypto Currency meet it came up and after clarifying it was not Valve's Steam (which also takes BitCoin now), I realized this was an interesting concept for those who produce content.
For those not familiar with Cult Basilisk, we produce two webcomics (written by me) edited and drawn by other person (though I have been learning photoshop to help with the editing process) about scenarios for what could go terribly wrong in the future.
The first comic is Singularitarian Hell (http://www.sh2033.com/) which is about what happens when you empower everyone the ability to make their own robots and A.I.
The second comics is Darkness Unabridged (http://www.du2089.com/) which is more in the lines of conspiracy and the supernatural, but tied into super intelligence.
I will be posting one comic every few days from archive onto Steemit, but you can everything that has been published now at http://cultbasilisk.com
I do have a Patreon page and a test bed for Javascript mining, but I'd like to try out Steemit to see is a way to go forward as well.
As always, I am interested in what you think and your thoughts of worse case scenarios in the future.
