A POST-APOCALYPTIC SCI-FI WEBCOMIC - "OURHUMA" - PART TWO

It's friday and it's time to show you the next new pages of OURHUMA!

"The boy and the girl stand victorious in the face of the gelid, deceased glare of the execrable enemy of Humanity. The pernicious contract between the boy and the menacing being of his ancient birthright is now inaugurated."

So the main story has officially begun! There's so much world building and characters to introduce during the first chapter! However you'll first meet these two teens- Janui and Dessi. You'll slowly learn more about them in the next few pages coming up next week! Now for the fun part! Some behind the scenes. First I want to show you some of the rough drafts on a few panels.

Here is some drafts of Janui's expressions on panels 1-3, I was a bit indecisive on what face Janui should show during the 3rd panel but it's clear which one I picked.

Here is Dessi's final artwork on final panel right next to her draft layer for comparison.

Now finally is the concept art of Dessi's Rifle. It's mostly inspired by Mari Makinami Illustrious' Sniper Rifle from Evangelion 3.0, and it's pretty HUGE! All of the characters will adopt their own ways to combat the remaining Morte left behind on Huma, but so far we'll only take a look of her rifle! It does have a name, but I'll reveal that another time!
