Apologizes, I'm sorry sorry I don't know what happened, I have somehow posted this post with just the picture, my post disappeared while doing it, that I just started over again, I didn't notice until 22 hours later what had happened, so this is the rest of the post.

We're told a Wedding is the biggest day's of our lives, but is it just another big mile stone in life as there are many big moments in our life or mile stones, many of them we will say they are the biggest or best day of our lives, we will have a few days like this like when we achieve goals like finishing school, passing exams, gaining a job, starting a business, meeting the love of our life, seeing our parents/family members achieve things in life, purchase a car, house, land, have a child/ren, be a grandparent/aunt/uncle etc the list goes on, this massive mile stone is the merge of two family's brought together by love but does it need to be brought together by debt also.

There are many options/solutions for many things in life, a wedding is one of them, but being open and exploring them are only for you and your partner to decide.

Below the prices and Ideas will be based on in New Zealand (at time of writing this post these were the prices), check your Country legal proceedings for marriage licences, celebrants, check out stores or online sites what is available to you

If you want a legal marriage you will need to by a licence, it takes approx three working days to obtain one.

The necessary for a legal wedding is a licence and someone to legally marry you, and two witnesses the rest like clothes, cake, accessories, receptions, cars, flowers, photographers, etc are all additional to make you as a couple feel special, so the amount you spend of these are up to you, or if you borrow from friends and family, make what you can or ask family and friends if they can help or if they know anyone if may be surprising what skills one has.

Look at nature also, there is many things nature can provide, flowers, flax to make jewelry - flowers - outfits , sea shells for rings and necklaces, wood to make things, let your imagination run wild.

Second hand stores some may have wedding dresses or fashion labeled clothes, suits, also wholesalers that sale clothes from last season clothing or fallen thru sale orders - you can sometimes pick ups some well known brands for really cheap sometimes $30 for labeled dresses.
Suits there is a well know suit company that has been in New Zealand for about 100 - 150 years they have an outlet store that just moved to Avondale, twice a year they have a massive sale selling suits as a pair or the jacket and trousers singly, I've been to one sale where they were starting from either $10-$20 for trousers and $20-$30 for the jackets then any where up to $150 a suit.

You can also hire clothes also, with so many options, you could look instead your wardrobe, family, friends wardrobes to see what you can find or mix and match to find something special.

Your budget is only held back by your imagine to fit within your budget

pleased to get the story this time. I was wondering what the three offcut logs were for.
It is also possible to tie the knot now with a small budget and few guests and when you have won Lotto repeat the exercise and invite everybody.
Big change in the prices, I vaguely remember the Priest being 5 pounds to do the deed, mind you that was in 1963.

Sorry about that, I thought I just lost the post, I didn't think I was anywhere near the post button.
There was a couple of idea's I forgot to add with technology it's possible to have people watching the ceremony live like they are there through skype or live stream, it's not the same but it's an option.
Wow that is a huge change 5 pounds for a Priest, but that would have taken a while to save up also in 1963.

I would have to ask the charncellor of the exchequer, it took quite a while, we had to do things and drive up to taranaki each weekend as well.
I know a couple of the guys who got married " just in time" had to borrow the money for the minister.
