I took all these photos late last week in Nottingham, Pennsylvania. I took a short walk around a very large corn field in Southern Chester County. It is literally a few feet North of the Mason Dixon line. Some shots actually show into Maryland. It's a bit over an hour South of where I currently live. I'm going back down there to stay with an old friend next month for a few days. It's pretty rural down there. Next time I go down, I will be taking photos galore! I wanna go all over the Chesapeake Bay.
Where I'm from, there used to be corn fields all over. Not anymore. There's hardly any farms left at all in my region. I watched Cornfield, USA turn into total suburbia in my lifetime. Where the open fields once were are now single family homes, townhouses, and strip malls. Very few housing developments are anything special. They're just cheaply built houses well under 1 million dollars. Philadelphia's Main Line was suburbanized long before my lifetime. The Main Line is full of multi million dollar mansions. Most of them are old stone homes. I would much prefer that over a Toll Brothers neighborhood. Very unique architecture. I'm from Central Montgomery County (Bill Cosby's County). I have lived in Philly before. Cops are much worse outside of the city.
My next Wednesday Walk post will feature the East side of the Susquehanna River from my day trip to Conowingo Dam. I decided to mix it up so it's not too many similar posts in a row. I think I might do Penn's Landing in Philadelphia the following week. I might sneak in a photo or 2 of the river before that for Monochrome Monday or Tree Tuesday. I already edited one black and white corn photo, not included in this post.
Since I am using the Creative Coin tag, here [below] is something I created in Photoshop. I added some 3D effects and blurring effects and other subtle and random changes. I'm kinda a noob at Photoshop. For some reason, I learn video editing so much quicker than photo editing. It's actually easier for me to edit photos in Premiere Pro than it is in Lightroom or Photoshop. Adobe CC is so expensive, and I'm losing so much money, and I have been losing money in my creative adventures for so many years. I'm absolutely confident it'll turn around eventually, and actually be profitable. I bought Steem when it went down to $6, then I bought more when it went down to $4, thinking it was a great deal. Then I bought more at $2, and $1, and I thought buying at 80¢ was a win win. Then 50¢, then 40¢.... I bought most of it between 25¢-35¢. I don't regret it. I'm certain the price of Steem will go back up in time. I don't think short term. I still believe it is a good long term investment. I would become a witness and run a server even if it's not profitable to do so, even if no one else wanted to be a witness anymore.I highly doubt that's going to happen. I'd buy more Steem if I could afford it, but right now I can't. I'm holding onto what I have. I'm buying tribe miners. I see an early user advantage in tribes. Creative Coin is my primary tribe for this account. I'm also sort of a musician. I have several electronic demo songs recorded. I have a short music video planned in the very near future. Sonic and Tunes coins I also want to hoard. I'm buying every coin moderately, even if I don't ever use the tags and only curate. I want to be the largest stake holder of CCC. That is my goal. That tribe is moderated, and they do mute people for tag abuse; so beware. They also don't like using excessive tribe tags. I think I'm gonna limit that to 4. I just now realized that the photography tag is a tribe, so maybe I'll have to use more than 4 tags in the future. Creative Coin does allow photography, but I made the extra photo just because!
What a cool walk post, When I worked at a market gardens after school many years ago dang its decades ago corn was one of the crops they had picking the corn was hard work but I did enjoy it or maybe I just enjoyed earning some money back then LOL
Even though I work in a big city I am still a country boy at heart so I loved your walk and the fields :)
I aam never sure which tags to use but someone told me today and I checked and its true only the first 5 tags on sme of the sites when you search the tag, so in some ways even though some sites let you use more than 5 the extra ones may not be seen so I am going to be careful from now on which ones I use for the first 5
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)

Here in the some of the most fertile soil in the world, of the Connecticut River valley, the building on prime growing land continues unabated. How people think they will have food down the road is beyond me...
