My Wednesday Walk to the Aqueduct Cottage

in wednesdaywalk •  6 years ago

My #wednesdaywalk initiated by @tattoodjay was to the old Aqueduct Cottage on the Cromford Canal, Derbyshire (UK). The cottage is a derelict lock keeper's cottage but the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust have obtained a grant to renovate it. As I like derelict buildings I wanted to go and see it before they put a new roof on it.

Someone has painted pictures on the boarded up windows to make it more pleasing on the eye.

It will be nice to revisit it when it's back to its best.

It was a lovely flat walk - just the way I like it.

Thank you for dropping in.
