Wednesday Walk - A Walk Amongst "The Crows"

in wednesdaywalk •  6 years ago

It's been so long since I participated in #wednesdaywalk that was originated by @tattoodjay. I came across some very old photos and thought I would share them before Winter arrives. Based on the title of my post, this is all about Scarecrows and an outdoor exhibit I got to see. I apologize in advance for the quality of the photos as they were taken with a very old handheld Casio digital camera years ago. But, I do hope you enjoy!

And that wraps up my long overdue #wednesdaywalk! Hope you enjoyed the walk amongst the crows!

Those scarecrows are awesome! I found your post through the pay it forward curation where it was featured by @viking-ventures

@headchange Thanks for checking my post out! I was surprised to have been featured and am honored!

Very cool scarecrows. Do you know who the artists are? I have a feeling these were made by kids. There's something really special about them. So cute!

PS: I have found your post because @viking-ventures featured you in her entry for the Pay It Forward Contest

@trincowski These were taken so long ago that I don't remember every artists name, but I think they were made by both adults and kids. It was a neat outside exhibit to have seen.

Haha, what a great walk I just had amongst the crows :D It is a difficult decision to make, but I guess The Tinman and The Carrot are my favorite :D

P.S. I found your post after @viking-ventures featured it in Pay It Forward Curation Contest.

@insight-out Thanks so much for checking out my post! I also like the Tinman. It was a tough decision for me to decide which I liked the best. There were actually over 50 scarecrows, but I chose the ones that were the clearest from the old photos.

It's a pity you don't have more pictures :) I have never visited an exhibition like that and "your tour" was the first of this kind for me :)

I have more, but they are not good quality. These were pretty poor quality photos, actually.

What a cool exhibit such fun and thanks so much for joining Wednesday walk !tip

Thanks, Jay! It's been way too long since I was able to participate but came across some older photos! I had more photos but didn't have time to size them right.

I saw them just a little while ago what a super cool event and a great idea for a Wednesday Walk post

I really enjoyed these pictures as inspiration for what one can do in their own gardens. I've included it in my entry for this week's Pay it Forward Curation Contest. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much! I do greatly appreciate it and was quite surprised!

Very cool. I think I would have a blast doing something like that.

You were featured in week 35 of @pifc's Pay It Forward Curation Contest by @viking-ventures.

Thanks @tryskele. I think I would have had a blast making one of them but I am not sure how creative I would have been. Those made turned out great.

I can tell you, I would not have thought of the candy corn one. I can be creative, sometimes the obvious escapes me.

Same goes for me. I would have never thought of a candy corn for a scarecrow. It amazes me how the simplest thing can turn out so great.
