Hello dear friends of the Wednesday walk and Make Me Smile,

Sometimes your plans do not go as you want, this time I had established the walk to smile for my Wednesday post with my wife, son, mother-in-law and sister-in-law in a mountain area of the Jarillo of the high Mirandinos and then we will perform our traditional Beach bath at the beginning of the year. There is a popular saying in my country that says: one thing is what the donkey thinks and another thing thinks who is riding it.

Unexpectedly when we were on our way, the temperature gauge of our van indicated a temperature rise. Our trip abruptly ended and we had to return home making several stops to avoid damage to the engine of our vehicle. So the effort of my wife, who got up early to prepare snacks and a delicious drink of hot cocoa (chocolate) was consumed at home. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law obligatorily stayed overnight without intending to do so in our home, so we chatted until late at night after eating delicious snacks and hot chocolate.

Plan A for the post was aborted, so I turned to plan B. Simple why not relive experience from past eras? Consequently, I returned to the trunk of photographic memories on a date such as now. The place the beautiful beaches of La Guaira, capital of the Vargas state, which by the way, once repaired our truck we will visit to dive us into the tropical sea as we have done so far in the month of January of the previous years.

Now that I think about this, I don't know for sure because this tradition in my family, perhaps because of the popular belief that when you immerse yourself in the sea you clean yourself of negative energies. I really do not believe in this, but is undeniable that when you put your bare feet on the sands, you are contact with nature.

So I show you this sequence of photographs that my daughter and I took of this beautiful place.

Hermano, creo que todas las poblaciones tienen sus encantos y secretos, por supuesto, La Guaira no es la excepción y ahora que lo comentas, no está demás indagar al respecto.
