Canon EOS R Day 2: we got wet / wir wurden nass

in wednesdaywalk •  6 years ago

Sometimes you should believe the weather forecast, because the rain was predicted.

CANON EOS R Day 2: we got wet

But the Canon EOS R is waterproof and the RF lenses are synonymous. Since I'm not sugar, I was not worried when it started to rain.

The rain was not heavy, but we got wet and the camera continued to work without any problems - me, by the way, too ;)

Today there is a butterfly (peacock's eye), a few flowers, plantlets and a rainbow.

Unfortunately, I had no time today in the office to look at the features that are new to me in the menu of the camera, because unfortunately I had to work ;)

Maybe I have some time tomorrow, otherwise I have to wait until the weekend.

In rainy weather, the wolf went hunting, he hunted three piglets. He did not hope for good luck in such bad weather. But, as it turned out, on this day, three pigs celebrated their birthday. As a result, the prey of the wolf became - three pigs, three goats, three ducklings and three elephants. ))

I have long noticed that the most interesting finds occur when you do not expect them.

Wonderful photos, my Dear friend @Johannpiber, and a fascinating story!

Yes, I forgot, the butterfly peacock eye this year ahead of its life cycle by two months. Wikipedia said that they should appear only in June.

Nice story, my friend, thank you 😊 where do you always find such nice stories that match kind of perfect?

Also it's true - photograph a sunrise or sunset and turn away from the sun - many times you will see a nicer view.

I think, this peacock butterfly does not have internet and therefore does not know wikipedia ;) ... ... or it was frozen during the winter and has thawed today ;)

Very beautiful macro photos! Your new camera is really amazing! Waterproof too.

The last photo indicates that mire rain is coming! Nice unexpected rainbow!

Thank you @kaminchan :)
Yes, I am very happy with the new camera und the rainbow matched perfect to my happiness :)

Oh i like it classic brown with the butterfly on the first image. Somehow those purple-blue flower with the classic brown leaves background has nice serenade!

Thank you @kheys :)
Yes, I also think, that the fresh colors look nice on the old brown leaves .

Awesome shots and glad your new camera is working well, Is this your first mirrorless? I Think yours and my Sony are similar specs and I love mine so not surprised at all you are loving it

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk !tip

Thank you @tattoodjay :)
No, the EOS M50 is also a mirrorless, and I liked it very much, because it is so small and lightweight.
The EOS R is really heavy, but as you say, it is very similar to your Sony and I love it :)

Ohh OK so you did the same as me from Mirrorless APS-c to full frame, UI had the 6500 which as APS-c and so light the plan when I bough the full frame was to still use the small one for carrying into the city each day, but i end up bringing the full frame with me and only use the small one as a second camera if I am shooting any of the local events

That's funny :)
I wanted to sell my M50 with the lenses and all the other accessories and buy a telezoom lens (or a long macro ;), but my son has decided to start photographing ;)
I let him have his fun with it. When he still likes photographing after a few weeks he can have it and I'll teach him ... we will see :)

I gave my old camera the A6000 to my daughter in law with some lenses she doesn’t use it much but says when we move closer she will come out with me taking photos sometimes time will tell I think my idea of a short photoealk May be a trek for her lol

Yes, I am also curious, if my son will really be interested or if it's just a new toy for a while. My dream would be, that he likes photographing so much, that he wants to become a professional photographer :)))

That would be cool would it not but either way fir now you can enjoy photo time with him

The only problem with him will be to photograph sunrises, because he likes to sleep till lunch.
But, yes, I would enjoy it very much if he would join me and my hobby.

Was noch?

Lovely rainbow at the end!

Thank you @geosoph :)
When I got there there were 3 rainbows, but one rainbow has dissolved quickly.

Nice flowers, butterfly and rainbow photography.

Thank you so much, @kamrunnahar :)

Howdy sir johannpiber! oh my gosh what a rainbow! I've never seen one like that which looks like a canopy because the color of the sky is different above it. And that butterfly is amazing too, we don't have that kind in Texas I don't think, or at least not in my part of the state.

Hello and good morning, @janton, thank you so much 😊

That's typical for rainbows - the sky below is brighter and above it is darker.
This was the first butterfly I have seen this year :) Wikipedia does not mention America on the list, where this peacock butterfly lives (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aglais_io).

Howdy today sir johannpiber! I haven't even seen very many rainbows and usually they only had one end visible so to me that was extraordinary! lol. But you are blessed over there with some magnificent scenery.

Thank you, @janton, and I like the vastness of the prairie in Texas, although I would miss the mountains.

You just planted 0.11 tree(s)!
