Wednesday Walk challenge

in wednesdaywalk •  6 years ago

#WednesdayWalk is a challenge started by @tattoodjay, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home, office or wherever you start.

It seems that the rain just won't quit! It is rather unusual for this time of year to have so much rain. But Wednesdays are garbage days at my house and I have to get the trash cart out to the road before the garbage truck comes. It's just sprinkling a little bit, so I take the camera, hoping for a few photos for my Wednesay Walk post.

While I am the furthest distance from the house it starts to pour again, and the rest of my photos are taken looking out from inside the garage.

I did get the trash cart out in time!

My looking up picture is of this not very happy Oriole.

good friend @melinda010100 we are fellow humane we must keep the environment clean. so that the environment around us is clean and beautiful. my @putra01 really like your post, i will share your posts. and please visit my blog once a friend.

Taking care of mother earth is crucial for everyone.

Looking at your first photo, can't wait for the leaves to turn brown, yellow, red and all kinds of colours characterising autumn. Sorry to hear about the rain though.

The entire state is in a state of emergency because of all the flooding.

That was the case at some parts of our country a few weeks ago. It's sad, especially when you see floored people sit around, watching the army clean their houses meanwhile they do nothing but complain. I hope you don't get flooded.

My house is pretty high above the river...my next door neighbor is much lower and she is worried. There has been a lot of damage around Wisconsin.

I hope you'll both be safe without any damages.

Oh my. Great photographs @melinda010100.

Hope it stops raining soon. I don't like the look of those autumn leaves. 😁

The is major flooding all around the state. The rain knocked down some leaves, but mostly it is still lush and very green.

Thats great multi Tasking taking out the trash and getting your Wednesday Walk,I hope you didnt get too soaked inthe rain

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk tip!

Thanks, my friend! I had a few sprinkles for a warning and I listened and got back to the house fast! The flooding around the entire state is really bad.

@melinda010100 Its been a crazy summer here, the weather patterns are so messed up

glad you didnt get to wet

WOW, this is what I call a heavy rainfall. But you managed to get good pics of it. :)

Much of the state seems to be underwater! We have had ridiculous amounts of rain.

Wow,rain photographs are beautiful; the detail are awesome!! beautiful colours and composition all are really wonderful shots ❤

Thanks so much! The entire state has had far too much rain.

Terrific pictures. Rain pictures are special. :-)

I'm guessing all the people who have been impacted by all the flooding are not appreciating the rain!

Postingan-postingan yang sangat bagus @melinda010100,, kebersihan adalah sebagian dari iman...

Thanks! And a good reminder!

Wow it is really coming down. We are still in the dry season here for a few months. No rain until fall/winter.

August should be hot and dry here, too! It seems that much of the state is flooded!

Loved the rain photos, my dear Melinda! And the leaves' first one is so beautiful! Sending my love to you!

I'm imagining you sitting beside that fabulous pool and typing this....sending back hugs and kisses!😘

You're imagining well, luv! I'm there, in fact. My daughter just had a dip in the pool, and it's already evening! Big hug and kisses, more and more😘!

What do one find, while walking?? leafs!! yuMmyness, well done you sweets🐲🐉💗🐲🐉💗
I do hope weather picks up some what for you :) Great post :D

Thanks, luv! Actually the weather is really nice right now! The rain cooled the temperature way down and I have got the windows in the house open. It feels so refreshing!

I wish I was there, the heat is very strong here. Today here has been the hottest day of all August

The rain cooled it down nicely, but we got too much, and there is a lot of flooding around the area. All is well here.

It's good to know that despite the rain everything is fine

howdy there melinda010100! hey howya doin? ya know, for it being raining and all, I thought these photos were really nice! I particularly like that one of the Oriole. great job!

Thanks, @Janton! I'm doing great! The rain cooled down the temperatures a bit and it feels so refreshing!
It is so nice to have the windows open for a change! I'm going to miss those Orioles when they leave in a couple of weeks to head south. They provide so much color and life to the backyard all summer long

howdy melinda010100! I know the rain is wonderful, we need more of that here in Texas. Do you have plants or a garden or anything like that in the backyard?

I have a lot of flowers and bushes planted around the house, but in the backyard it's mostly a strip of woods, and then the river. Some of my neighbors houses set lower than mine does and they're worried about how fast the river is rising from all the rain. The governor has declared a state of emergency. Some areas north of us got 12 inches.

holy moly! 12 inches..wow. well I think you've had enough of that for wahile and I hope it stopped. but your backyard sounds wonderful, isn't it hard to mow with alot of trees or is there so many trees that there isn't much grass?

There are more thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow, we'll see what happens . The lawn care service is out there right now mowing my lawn, but I don't have much to worry about!

Nice creativity in getting your Wednesday walk photos!! It has been pouring here as well, but it's more common here during this time of year.

Usually August is hot and dry here and we have garden hoses running to prevent things form drying up and dying! The governor declared a state of emergency. WAY too much rain and lots of damage.

@melinda010100, so much water. It's raining really hard. I hope it won't last too long. Great shots! These streams of rain on your photos are very clearly visible
