We have had some great waves recently so that's pretty much all i have been shooting. It doesn't really get good that often so i don't want to miss it! I've made myself crazy trying to look at - just look at - thousands of photos let alone edit them all. This would have been totally impossible with film. It's an interesting dilemma. A few good ones and thousands of misses with film versus thousands and thousands with digital and trying to pick one from a sequence of 5 or 6 great ones. Ahhh... quality problems.

It's a 70x300. Crop sensor on the Sony so it's 105x450mm. It's good for surf shots around here.

I see a fellow Sony user and that lens is in my wishlist having both full frame and crop cameras the extra range with the crop sensor comes in handy occasionally so I keep my 6500 as my second camera and occasionally use it when I know I need more reach
