WednesdayWalk - The Old Town

in wednesdaywalk •  6 years ago

Hi, Steemit!!!

We again walked through the Old Town. We went to the market through this part of the city. The first thing we saw was the new decoration of the old cafe :)

In this cafe usually arrange different parties or weddings. But earlier there was no green track and swing. It looks very nice !!!

We took a closer look at the plants in large jars. It turned out to be passionflower.

I think this swing set for a photo shoot of the bride. Great idea!!!

A little higher on this street I liked the house.

An old-style building with red shutters looks very impressive.

On the wall of another house were bright pictures.

If you think what the inscription means: BR7, this is the Hebrew name of the city Beer Sheva. "Sheva" it means "7" in Hebrew :)

I always love to see a different parts of the world especially an old architecture. Great shots Tali 😍

thank you very much, Lena! These are the buildings of the times of Turkish domination in Palestine. Have a nice day!!!!

Oh I see! May please and have a lovely day too my Dear 😍

Howdy tali72! What a great wednesdaywalk! I love that old house with the red shutters, I bet that thing is very old but very well built!

I think that these houses were built either under the Turks (100 years ago), or immediately after them. buildings are really very good

howdy today tali72! that place is built like a fort! I like that, you guys should buy one of those!

Oh no! )))) I prefer modern buildings)))) but I like to walk there

Howdy tali72! oh ok, so this style is no good for a home? Do you have any photos of something close to what you like? Because I have no idea about styles over there, they are very different.

Oh, I need to think about the answer for you :) in Israel, private houses are not just expensive but terribly expensive :))) at a time when property prices around the world fell, in Israel it grew. This is a completely inexplicable fact. so I don’t even dream of a private house :))) apartment buildings are very different. the old ones often have fungus on the walls due to humidity. There are no balconies in these houses. New high-rise buildings have balconies - I like it. Now we live in such an apartment and we eat on the balcony - it's great !!!!

near the balcony grows a palm tree with fruits. in the evening, flying bats fly to a palm tree (kind of bats). they are very cute :) my husband was able to take a picture of one of them !!! here are his photos - http://israbel.space/archives/9593 - if the language is not English, on the right under the main photo you can change languages

Howdy tali72! oh, I did not realize that single family homes were out of the price range of most common people. But the apartments with balconies look very nice! And those photos of the bats are great, thanks for sending that link.

I love seeing your walks around there

love for all hatred for none.

Thanks!!!! Have a nice day!!!!!

Thanks will do my best :)
