One of the fundamental issues within the cannabis industry is the lack of strain genetic tracking and automated packing processes for higher efficiency. While this is some what true there is yet to be a single open-source project dedicated to solving such issues.
Machine learning is the key to understanding strain genetics and automated packaging as with simple inputs such as JPG picture of a bud to classify and package it in the correct container etc. With strain genetics having the ability to track how each strain is related to one another just the tip of the iceberg.
My name is Christopher G and here is Tensor Strain a (currently) simple strain recognition framework and android app using open source technologies such as Tensor Flow (by Google). The entire project is still in very early stages but Tensor Strain should allow for the easier identification of strains, there correlations between each other and the added help of determining harvest dates, density, and many other aspects such as the terpene density.
