Tuesday Appreciation Day.

Tuesday, to most just another day on the calender between Monday and Wednesday, but to me Tuesday is an overlooked and under appreciated day of the week. The reasons I have a fond respect for Tuesday are numerous, but for the purposes of time and space I have selected my top three.

1. Tuesday is the forgotten day of the week: Yes, you may say "But Tuesday is clearly on the calendar." That may be so, but who remembers it? Especially when Monday is a drag and Wednesday is at the middle of the week. People may even say begrudgingly "Geewhiz I hate Tuesdays!" or even "Tuesdays coming did you bring your coat?", but not I.

2. "Tuesdays: The Day of Deals": Many great deals happen on Tuesdays as many retailers and restaurants try to draw you in with fantastic prices! For example Taco Johns has Taco Tuesday and Little Caesars has $3.99 Large Pepperoni Pizzas. Home Video, Music, and Video Game new releases are done on Tuesdays!

3. You can't spell Patriotism without Tuesday: Call me old fashioned, but I think that the Founding Fathers knew a thing or two about Tuesdays that's probably why we have our elections on Tuesdays. It is a well known fact that Benjamen Franklin loved Tuesdays and had convinced George Washington to love Tuesdays after Franklin convinced two-thirds of the House of Representatives that Tuesdays were the shizzle.

I hoped you learned a little something about why Tuesdays are awesome and why every Wednesday after the 2nd Tuesday in April in years ending with zero, do we appreciate it. (except on years starting with 3 then we celebrate it on years ending in 1 and so on and so forth).
