I feel like crap and I love it. I can feel my body going through the exact confusion I was expecting. I feel lighter and healthier, but I'm going through withdrawal from the bad stuff I was eating before. Today I ate more bananas than yesterday and added in some black beans with spices wrapped in a corn tortilla for lunch. I first realized how tasty black beans are about 2 months ago. I've always eaten and enjoyed them as what they are, but discovering how awesome they are as a replacement for meat was a game changer.
I didn't start calisthenics last night because the kitchen sink decided to break on me so I had to fix that. I could have easily fit a workout in after that, but I didn't. I need to get better about that. Tonight I am hitting it. I have been a fan of calisthenics for some time. Growing up I prided myself on the amount of weight I was able to lift in the gym. I am at the point now where that kind of physicality holds no allure for me. I would rather be healthy, able to move, strong and require a minimal amount of food to maintain. The tin foil I wear on my head has a lot to do with that...
