Body Fat Loss - The Skinny Asian Way

Now you're not going to learn ALL of the secrets and tips Asian women employ to get their fit bodies in just a single short article. But you CAN pick up some tips that will get you on the road to the body you deserve without suffering:

Constant Motion = Constant Body Fat Loss

No matter where you live in the world, I'd bet that most mornings or evenings if you visit a local park or anywhere that water and trees are present in your neighborhood you'll find some Asian women walking around.

As a girl growing up in Taiwan, I can't remember a time when my sisters and I ever really stopped moving around, particularly outside, as it was not only a way to play and have fun but also showing respect both to our bodies and to the Earth itself. By surrounding ourselves with nature we automatically find a little more peace and harmony each day, which is something most Asian cultures believe in strongly.

The challenge is how do we apply this knowledge of needing on a daily basis to enable body fat loss, and how do we fit it into our busy modern lives of working, family, friends, and even pets?

The answer is to create motion whenever possible:

Watching television? Great, at every commercial break I want you to get up and walk in place until the show comes back on.

Going to run errands? Park as far away from the store as possible, walk a little more.

Taking a half hour lunch from work? Eat something you prepared and brought to the office and then walk around the building for the remaining 15 minutes.

These are simple examples of how Asian women look for, and find, ways to increase the amount of movement and motion in their lives on a daily basis...even when trapped at work or doing chores. It's not hard to get in hundreds more calories of body fat loss per day without even realizing it. Who needs a back-breaking killer cardio workout when you can just add a little bit of motion here and there and get the same result? Exactly.

Set your alarm clock to just 15 minutes earlier than you normally get up. Spend that time walking around your neighborhood before breakfast to jumpstart your metabolic rate prior to eating. Do the same after dinner, just a simple and easy 15 minutes of walking, and when combined with the earlier morning session (and the other little motion activities I've listed) it will add up to between 200-300 extra calories of body fat loss per DAY.

It seems so simple, and in truth...it is. You just have to make a mental note during the day to remind yourself to look for opportunities for motion...any motion. Even raising and lowering one or both of your arms while at your desk or when sitting in front of the computer reading increases your body fat loss potential.

It's not hard once you make these little things a habit, and once again it certainly beat the heck out of killing yourself every day at the gym!
