Have you ever been on a bad first date?
Have you ever been on a date as bad as Dallas attorney Anthony Buzbee?
Probably not.
Have you ever looked at a painting and thought "Boy I'd like to throw some red wine on that"? Me neither.
On December 28th, Buzbee was on a date with Lindy Lou Layman (surprisingly not a Dr. Suess character). According to Buzbee, Layman became intoxicated. He called her an Uber and asked her to leave.
Instead of leaving, Layman allegedly turned her attention to Buzbee's art collection which included original Renoir, Monet's and Andy Warhol paintings.
According to Buzbee, Layman threw sculptures, tore paintings off the walls and threw red wine that damaged two of the Andy Warhol paintings.
Buzbee has indicated that there was at least $300,000 worth of damage done.
That is a very expensive first date.
Layman's side of the story has not been reported yet. I'm sure it will make a great Lifetime movie.
A violent red wine attack probable enhanced the Warhol art.
