Antarctica is a place where odd sounds can be heard from time to time. Because they are covered with glaciers and they sometimes crack, melt and release the air trapped beneath the surface.

The newly discovered voice does not resemble those previously encountered. It was even reported to be extremely creepy.
The sound came from Ross Ice Shelf, west of Antarctica. Researchers think that what makes this sound could be seismic waves trapped under meters of snow and ice.
Julien Chaput, an expert who records and examines sounds, says these sounds can be a sign of melting snow and ice.

This causes the icebergs to become unstable. Huge pieces of ice are separated and begin to drift in the ocean. If Ross Ice Shelf is completely melted, it can dramatically increase sea level altitude. This would lead to various disasters.

I appear to have found a pyramid there the other day, and I've found machinery under the ice as well. Something is happening down there that somebody knows about.
