Hi everybody, long time no see..
I first heard about steemit a few years ago (aprox 4). The project sounded promising so I put taps on it. For a while, I followed the project progression and read a few articles without ever interacting, the general lurks.
As I got involved in more and more promising projects, my attention gradually distanced, to the point where at some point, the very idea of the existence of this space slipped out of my mid.
Here I am 4 years later, sorting out old email addresses and stumbling upon the Chrismas email from steemit.
The simple sight of the email title send, and the very word "steemit", sent me years back. It's been a while since i've sent such mix feelings.
Remembering the promises and ambition of this project, of its team, made me wonder how did my brain simply manage to just overnight forget all about it.
It didn't take long for the following question to emerge in my mind : in all this time, what did I miss?
So, hi. On this Chrismas day, that is exactly the question I am asking.
TLDR : Lurked on steemit 4 years ago, completely forgot about the space, to finally remember its existence on this very day. Felt the urge to finally break the lurking cycle and try and reach out, connect with the people that have experienced Steemit for the last few years.
