I am a new user in my first 24 hours of Steemit, but loving it so far 😍

I wrote about ways that people could use their credit card to their advantage to save themselves money - I wrote this because I work in customer service for a credit card company and I feel like I can give you guys a couple of really useful insider tips that may help you save a few 💲

Both Crypto and Steemit are all about speculating to accumulate so I feel like being able to save a few $ on your other financial products is worth mentioning here too :)

I think i meet the requirements - however i combined the introduceyourself with the original content post. I hope this is ok :\

I decided to write about tax implications because:
A) i'm a nerd and the topic interests me
B) if i surpass a threshold of success in this community then it could also affect me directly. And;
C) It is super relevant to the STEEMIT community and searching for past posts on the topic revealed the most popular one to be almost a year old and,i think, dangerously incorrect.

Both of my children were huge fans of those weird puffy creatures! That show always sort of creeped me out, but then again I grew up watching the Road Runner, Woody Wood Pecker and all of the Loonytoons . Must have warped my childhood brain!

Food is really the most common language in humanity. It nourishes us, defines us, connects us, and has the potential to make us happy or dissatisfied.
When we talk about food, we find so much more than epic flavors, ingredients, and textures. I learn about tradition, about relationships, about memories, about cultural similarities and differences.
Think about it. Food is often used to mark special occasions, like birthdays, baby showers, weddings, new births, graduations, anniversaries, etc. It can also be offered as a comfort to someone who is going through a period of mourning. People can also control how they have their mealtimes, and food morphs from a mere necessity into an enabler of healthy conversation, in which families and friends catch up and share experiences.

I guess that's what makes me so passionate about food.

Hi there! I am a recent college graduate, I just ended my first career because I have big dreams of starting a successful fashion blog. I am currently unemployed and working on building content for my blog. I model clothing that I have received from brands that I enjoy, and work on my own photographs because I cannot currently afford an editor. I studied photography in college and received a degree in fine art. This is our second post, and probably the most meaningful video my husband and I have ever made. In order to get to this point, we both quit our jobs, moved our family over several state lines, shed our suburban-born skins, and are doing our best to learn how to emerge as booted, flannel-clothed, homesteading butterflies. We're doing all we can to take responsibility for our own finances, family, health, food needs, and water as we scratch out a self-sustainable homestead in the Ozarks! We have a LOT of ground to cover as we try to learn all the skills that most folks used to know until about 150 years ago, but it's worth the adventure for sure!

The online homesteading and DIY community has been an amazing support and teacher through this. We are glad that we can contribute back by sharing our story, successes and ..."learning moments." And we're so happy to be here.

Hi groovy Steemians. I’m really excited to join your community. After the passing of my best friend, I went from living a carefree life as an American girl in Europe roaming from one movie set to the next on the back of my boyfriend’s motorcycle to returning home to the United States to deal with the loss of someone I have long called a sister. Since then, I’ve tried to spend as much time with my family and friends as possible, especially my brothers, who I was close to growing up. When an annual horror movie convention that they attend every year came to town, I decided to go with them. It was the topic of my first post on Steemit. Hi there! I think I meet the requirements. I hope you like my post, I think it is something totally different than most of the other topics here. It is about a new trend sport in Germany.

I live in Austria, and we play this sport like crazy all the time and we will even play on the Pro Tour this year and on the World Championships next year. I just wanted to introduce this cool sport to other people which might also enjoy it as much as I do ;) And maybe there will be new nations at the World Championships then (right now there are only players from a few European countries)

I wrote about one of my first travel experiences here in China. It's a memory that's stayed with me for three reasons:

The two other foreigners I was traveling with two of the closest friends I've met here. They've since departed China.
It's the biggest holiday in China and I got to spend it with a Chinese family. It was a good feeling to be so warmly received and see the culture from within.
Fireworks. Exploding everywhere. All over the city I was in. Who could forget that?

I recently joined Steem - about 5 days ago. I enjoy every min on here and I'm always looking forward to whats next. With that said, I've made a few posts and connected with a quite a few members whom share similar interests and hobbies which is fantastic.
Today I received this auto-mated reply to one of my posts and thought why not give it a shot and share that same post here with other newer members of the community.

One of the members who I follow asked a question about emoji's and why they're not really easy to use - There's no GUI or dropdown on steem yet to add emoji's to your story.

So I did up a quick and short list of some smiley face emoji and a few other random ones along the HTML input for the unicodes. I also added a link to the emojipedia so you can go and grab other ones you may like and add them to your stories.

All you have to do is copy the HTML code and end it with a semi-colon and bingo you get a cool little emoji for your story : )

The format used here is fairly close to the template outline: tell everyone about something I like - usually a crypto currency, asset or token, but not always - explain what I like best about it, and then tell you what I did and a little about how I did it and what my thinking was.

My motivation is to share my knowledge and contribute the best I can towards popularizing crypto as a legitimate money alternative, and I figure that focusing on the positives just might be a very good way to do that. :-)

That’s pretty much it: inviting you to share in this little part of my world that delves into "crypto", which is everything else but small.

Hello @reggaemuffin , I saw your comment on my introducing myself video. I just made a second post and after I came to check this out. Lately I've been really into cryptocurrency and thats how I discovered steemit so I'm still figuring stuff out but I did my researsh. After looking into steem I found my love for social media wich I lost a few years ago. I think this is what social media should look like! So I was very excited about posting blogs on steemit. My blogs will mainly go about fitness and a healthy lifestyle in general. Might want to do some cryptotrading video's when I get the real hang of it. I have written a very detailed article about how to book cheap flights. I learned all of this by travelling extensively, to the point I gave presentations about my travels in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Las Palmas (Spain) and applied for a job at an error fare website. I wrote my second post on the Freedom of Speech, why it matters, where limitations are and if there should be limitations at all. In my opinion a really interesting topic especially nowadays. Different opinions matter, bring progress and debate. Yet we should look at logical implications of unlimited free speech. I'm sure I'm already too late, but why not, I just care about spreading my knowledge and helping others through the troubles I've grown to know.

Anyhow, I just made my second post, this one, unlike my first post which was personal and introductory which I believe got a whale-vote, I spoke about something my brother showed me earlier today.

In short, I'm a vegan and I dislike dairy and adore hearing about it being desperate, and the recent move the EU has done shows once again how much the Dairy Industry is trying to hold on while they're getting #rekt by plant-based milks.
I go over briefly on what the ruling means and then what it indicates in terms of social/economic development, ending in a small writing that simply came out right as I, ironically, finished my bowl of muesli with a glass of Almond milk.

I'm into long posts, unplanned, unscripted, and just whatever comes to my head, completely unedited.
You may not get something that makes you laugh too often from me, unless you're laughing at me, but I promise to pull your heart-strings and make you think candidly.

I wrote about remote parenting my child from across the country. It's a thing that not many parents talk about but a surprising number of parents do. Living far away from your child is always hard, but we should be there for each other, and our kids.

Parenting is hard, we shouldn't have to be isolated as well.
