Dry brushing has been part of my wellness routine for the past few years and now, couldn't imagine not having it be part of my self care routine. Skin brushing has a number of health benefits and is easy to incorporate into your self-care tool box.
Why should you dry brush? Your skin, the largest organ in the human body absorbs whatever we put on it within 10 seconds. It helps us release bio accumulation of toxins in our body and dry brushing helps stimulate that.
The Benefits:
✨ You'll exfoliate dead skin.
Forget your in-shower loofah and body scrubs, this will ensure you have silky-smooth skin all year round!
✨Dry brushing helps to reduce cellulite.
Cellulite is just toxins that have accumulated in our body’s fat cells and are unable to be eliminated from the body.
✨ It unclogs pores and keeps acne at bay.
As per Ayerveda, I’d suggest getting a rough bristle skin brush as it will help detox your lymphatic system more efficiently. I personally love to skin brush before showering and using coconut oil to moisturize more deeply. Also, use circular motion moving upward starting from your feet.
Let me know in the comments below if you give it a try :)
