A Teenagers's Plea for Free Chicken Nuggets

Carter Wilkerson wants some free chicken nuggets but has ended up with or getting closer to one of the most retweeted tweets of all time.

Carter is 16 years old as a joke, his request for a year’s supply of chicken nuggets from fast food chain Wendy’s has been retweeted more than 3.3m times and counting. It also makes it the most popular of retweet of 2017 yet.

Currently, Ellen DeGeneres holds the record for the most retweeted tweet ever. Her star-studded Oscars-night selfie has held the record since 2014, with about 3.4m retweets.

The Nuggs For Carter campaign has taken off on it's own steam and most large businesses and charities including Amazon, Microsoft, and United have all joined in. It seems Carter is becoming very popular as he's done radio and television interviews as well. The campaign has also turn into a battle with Ellen DeGeneres to gain the most retweeted tweets and although this is trivial, it is quite funny.

Carter from Nevada, said the whole thing started as a joke when he tweeted how many retweets for a year of free nuggets to Wendy's and they responded with 18 million.
