When all is figured in and added up - Western economies are a huge debt pyramid scheme because of the way money is “printed” out of thin digital air and handed out disproportionately to “politically connected” banks and corporations in accord with how the less than 1% of unelected ruling elites instructed their bought and paid for Western politician and media puppet minions.
If this report is accurate the UK doubled the total amount of money since 2011 - incrementally diluting the value of all currency that existed prior to 2011 by 50%. If you weren’t on the receiving end of these handouts - to the wealthiest corporations with enough holdings and/or other resulting payments to compensate for the 50% dilution of money ratio that ends up getting added to national debts, then, you’ve been getting ripped off directly and/or indirectly. Those handouts would have made some sense if injected into the bottom of the economy - while those at the bottom would have spent what they received, causing the freshly minted digital currency to move from the bottom of the economy upwards to those that, for any reason whatsoever, already have the most - exactly as the economy was and is intentionally set up. Apparently that setup is not enough for those at the top.
I believe the Western financial and monetary systems are primed for a serious collapse. As consumers we’ve all been participating in a charade, keeping the illusion going concerning what has become fake “capitalism” over recent decades. Even thieves help maintain the status quo while whatever they consume is produced by the corrupt system as it exists to the extent that what they consume is produced by the corrupt system. When everything is geared to generate maximum corporate profits at the expense of domestic and foreign populations, we’re already operating under a system of corporate fascism. National debts in Western countries are higher than ever if I’m not mistaken. All of this is a recipe for economic collapse of some unknown degree.
Notice the establishment doesn’t talk about solutions; through their puppets they warn us of tough times approaching. There are measures that would mitigate the damages to Western economies and populations. The damage already done is far from having worked it’s way fully through the system at this point. The billionaire elites wouldn’t like those solutions but are still trying to manipulate the public into accepting their Great (fake) Reset which is globalist code for NWO Globalist Fascist Surveillance Police State.
