Tern Lake, Family Gathering
A some what continuation of the Saturday's Alaska Photo log Trip. I like Tern Lake, I think it is a nice photogenic lake . It is a nice reflective lake on most days. This was a quick drive by shot of a family of Swans on the lake, fortunately we were slowing down for the upcoming stop sign, and the manual setting worked a little bit. (I had to do a bit of cropping because of sun flare on the lens that reflected into the picture).
I would like to upload the non reduced in size image, unfortunately we do not have unlimited internet where I live, so I have to be careful with the size of photos uploaded. Some of the photo quality gets lost in the reduced size.
With where and how this little lake is located, many people heading to the Kenai Peninsula end up not being able to see the beautiful view and reflections until they are coming back in the evening from the day on the peninsula. Also a lot of people miss the campground area because it really is only visible from the one direction into the area. So if you ever visit Alaska try not to miss the campground and the lake here.
