Here you are
And look at you
In you I see the past
The life we had together
The life that we have been through
You are to me so very dear
And even though
I am not little anymore
I still am glad to have you near
You keep the memories I adore
You are with me
Since I was child
And since that time
It was not you, not me, but we
Even though I treated you a little wild
And now, today
You are still here
Your plush looks smooth
You are so precious
You are so dear
You are … the memories of my youth

A picture of an item was requested for this week's contest. And then you think "That's a piece of cake", but it certainly was not. Because although there are, of course, objects all around you, that does not mean that I just want to photograph every object.
It certainly was NOT EASY.
I have something with emotions, and I want to show emotions in my photography. In other words by capturing it clearly on image, or by photographing 'subjects' that can release emotions in me. And that was easier thought, than done.
I want to show emotions in my photography.
In the first instance I have only been thinking, but as is often the case with me ... with thinking alone the idea does not come. And I often end up in a circle where I can only come out by consciously taking action.
Only come out by taking action.
And that action in this case consisted of walking around in my house in search of 'my object'. And during that walking around, my eyes suddenly fell on 'a very dear friend'. A cuddly toy from my childhood. Got from my parents in a period when I often had nightmares.
A very dear friend.
And since the day I got it, I have always kept it close to me. Even though he has not been sharing my bed long ago ... I never ever ever let him go!
Never ever ever let him go.
Never, ever, ever...
