Females and tattoos... taboo still?
For some tattoos are still taboo and even more so on the female body! Personally I think that it is indeed harder for women to find a style that is feminine and compliments the beautiful female body. At the same time, when done well, I find tattooed women very beautiful to see as tattoos are a form of creative expression.
Before getting a tattoo make sure you go through the below steps:
In my experience, the mistake often made, is that a tattoo is chosen on the spur of the moment and has no connection to the person that is being tattooed. This, spur of the moment choice, also makes that small tattoos are chosen for price reasons and lack of going through the creative process.
I would suggest that you, if thinking about a tattoo, first invest some time to figure out what styles you like and which styles you do not.
From there start thinking about a theme or story that you want your tattoo to depict.
Where do you want the tattoo on your body, taking into account the question if you will possibly expand the tattoo later or not...
Let all this sink in until you are sure about all the above. At that point you are ready to go looking for a tattoo artist that can assist you in the creative process and can advise on the placing and the size. Your tattoo artist will need you to be able to answer all the above questions in order for him or her to be able to provide you with good advise.
Now enough talk and on to the amazing foto's of tattooed women below. These pictures prove that large tattoos can be very feminine and sexy if thought about well beforehand. ;)
