I have only been on Steemit for one and a half month and because my native languish isn't English and I'm dyslexic I post my original photos but are not much of a blogger. From what I see most post that uses #whalepower are blogs. But I'm going to give it a try and try to learn how to use it. Hi Paul - i am rereading the post to make sure i am on the right track and appreciate that your doing this to help the steemit community grow and be a better place. I am not sure why your not connecting on my recent posts and do understand that your doing this manually and perhaps sleep and work come in the way of seeing every post. I'm new to Steemit and already wrote some posts - everything is original content. I write about music festivals, DIY stuff, cacti, mead, meditation etc. I released my latest post yesterday and just added the #whalepower Tag. I hope it will work adding it afterwards (the post is https://steemit.com/music/@thecoach/big-festival-of-electronic-music-in-a-beautiful-park-juicy-beats).
The idea sounds good. I will check out the other posts which are using this tag now. I think it is a good idea for us minnows to connect.

Hi, I am sort of a new Steemit user, a "Minnow" for sure, I have just upvoted this post and had already resteemed it earlier. I have been using the #whalepower tag on all my posts over the past few weeks, but I guess I had not followed the instructions all the way. So I am now following @paul-gillbanks and @bullionstackers and just upvoted and commented on a post in the #whalepower category. I will start hanging out here and interacting more frequently, please let me know if there are any other steps I am missing, because I am trying to figure out this semi-complex platform called Steemit, and I am aware that being involved with #whalepower is a good place to be. So if you have time check out the posts I have done referencing you guys and if not that's fine, just give me a heads up if I am missing any steps.
