I am relatively new to Steem, but a Minnow of 2 months old. I have heard wonderful rumours of the myth of Whales that are apparently out there. I have been searching far and wide, trying to find discord channels they might be on or Steemit posts where I could comment and possibly interview them about their rise to Whaledom. I have visited several Steemit and Steemd sites to see who is on top of the food chain.
Strangely, I cannot find any Whales that are active. The links I have found to Whales either show that they haven't been active for several months to years, or ones that simply resteem posts. I'm not sure if Whaledom means you no longer need to post, since you've raked in so many SBD to play on the market that writing articles no longer fascinates them. But I do have to ask the question: Where have all the Steem Whales gone?
I am hoping my call will bring some comments that I am looking in the wrong places, with a link to the right places. Perhaps you know a Whale who is actually active. All I know is, spotting a Whale on Steemit is as hard as spotting a real whale in real life. I hope that when I become a Whale one day, I continue to post and uplift Minnows. I love writing. I cannot imagine not writing and sharing my posts.
If you know where active Whales can be found, please let me know. I would love to just swim in their wake as I learn about their rise to glory.

They arent gone. Pretty large number of them is still active. But active as curators taking in curation rewards. You just need to be active and create great content. Make it an interesting read, well designed and engaging. Theyll find you dont worry. 😁
