Top ten undervalued whales have estimated dollar value of $360,000

Background

In an effort to identify the steemit accounts having balances above $5000 which are not very popular among the users, i have initiated this research on the recommendations of @jerrybanfield. He is the true inspiration behind this research. I am naming this project as #whalesanalytics and i would try to answer all the possible questions posed by @jerrybanfield.

This study is response to the appeal made by @jerrybanfield yesterday to find out the Best whales to follow for upvotes!
After reading his post I thought of running the analytical project on the whales. This is one of the most dominant category on the steemit earth.

To identify the top 10 undervalued accounts i have analysed 1100 accounts ranked by the https://steemwhales.com, did little bit of coding and crunching and came out with the list of the top ten whales to be followed and are currently undervalued.

I have obtained the data related to the steemwhales from the website https://steemwhales.com/?p=1&s=power

Additionally Please Note,

• This analysis is based on the top 1000 Steemwhales
• These are ranked by https://steemwhales.com on the basis of Steem Power they have in the wallets

Methodology

• I have applied different parameters while completing the analytics related to the whales
• Accounts are whose estimated account value was greater than $5000 are considered as whales for the purpose of this study
• Efforts have been made to identify those whales who are active in last 30 days.
• Efforts have been made to identify those whales whose reputation score is above 30. (Just on the basis of hypothesis that whales below this reputation are probably not active)
• The data used in this analysis is valid for 28.06.2017 only.
• This study is based on the active whale accounts, in order to call the whale account as active, I have considered those accounts where atleast one wallet, posting or curation transaction has taken place in last 30 days.

The Results

• Total Estimated Dollar Value of the undervalued Whales' accounts is $ 360,000 on 28.06.2017
• Most of the undervalued whales rank in the range of 300-600 on the ranking conducted by https://steemwhales.com
• 9 out of the 10 undervalued accounts are found to be opened in 2017.
• During this analysis I have came across many whales which are found to be not active since last one year (These are not part of this study)
