Suffocating and Poinsoning our Planet

All life on our planet is primarily energized by the Sun. Photosynthesis on land turns solar energy into energy stored in the cells of plants.

Animals eat the plants and thus almost all land based creatures are powered by solar energy.

Inhabitants of the oceans are energized by the sun through photosynthesis in plankton and other oceanic plantlife, which is consumed by many species which are the prey of other species. Almost all oceanic life is therefore powered the solar energy.

Destruction of the means of producing this form of energy will end life on Earth.

Such destruction is effected through deforestation, genetic modification of crops which destroy natural ecosystems and replace them with non-sustainable systems, fungicide and pesticide which do the same thing, mass production techniques which also do it, water pollution which poisons and otherwise destroys river and ocean life, destructive fishing and other organism gathering methods and all practices which reduce the planets breathing capacity(capacity to produce oxygen) and those which produce greenhouse gases instead.

A closer look at the impact of fungicides and pesticides now reveals that a primary conveyer of pollen, which facilitates the proliferation of the most important species of flora on the planet looks to become extinct in the near future.

Scientists have discovered what is killing bees by the hive and preventing their extinction looks to be a bigger task than Man is prepared to perform.- link

Anyone who values the life this planet affords us and our progeny is duty bound to ernestly stive to change this course of events.
