Massive steemit limitation. ---- need help from you whales.

So first let me say i love the site, and i really do mean that. Fantastic idea. However.......

There is a Massive limitation i am coming into after my first 2 weeks. Not being able to edit or delete after a very small window of time. I try to make above average postings. maybe better said WANT to make above average postings. But not being able to change / edit my posting is a huge limitation that i fear will force me to leave this site i am enjoying so much.

I am a board game store. and i saw this as a great place to talk about games, give away games and even host games right in a posting. I also want to make a price guide for games and miniatures, but its not ever going to stay the same, i will have to add new Dungeons & Dragons books as they come out to my posting, price changes as they get older etc etc.

Does anybody have any idea why this is an issue? i fear i might just have to go away and find another site. Can this be fixed? or is it etched in stone? I cant make a posting of over 100,000 games easy in a normal length of time it will take years to finish it up and still i would need to change it.

Very sad right now.....any information would help......i just wrote to steemit and i will post what they say if they respond, but i figure you pros will know

I don't know of anything stopping you from just making a new post with the updates in it.

changing price when they change in the market, i would be massively flooding the postings. prices change so often, or what if i have a complete listing of Dungeons and Dragons books, and 2 months later a new book comes out? and 2 months after that and so on and so on... i see 1 guy on here that is scanning magic the gathering cards, not saying anything about them, just scanning them and posting 1 picture per posting. well there must be about 25,000 different cards now, and it just seems to congest the postings, if i type in MTG all that comes up is his stuff, he is flooding everything else out, and i dont want to do that to a good community of great posts. Thank you for writing your thoughts.

If it is a matter of the HTML mark-up, you can organize your activity with a little folder on your favorite hard drive and copy-paste from wordpad or Word.

i thought about that, but if people go to search for Complete D&D book listing, they would get so many results it would be hard to figure out which one is complete.

i think i just might be screwed on this one.......to bad i really like the site.

I am going on ebay now to see how much a cheap server would be. Maybe i can go around it.
