💻 OFFICIAL WhaleShares website redesign - our first steps

in whaleshares •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hi there.
Im working on new WhaleShares.net website with @vitkolesnik.
Current state - http://whaleshares.net/

First version - scrolling layout

I was thinking of streamlined process with compact layout. Most of the information would be visible at first glance.
This approach has soem advantages (simple, easy to code, fast), but it creats a information clutter for new users.

Verdict? Denied.

Second version - tab based layout

This approach is much better for new users, because they dont have to process many informations in each step. But its much slower and harder to use on tablet/mobile.

Ok, the first 2 variants both have some advantages and some disadvantages. We need to find the "best of both worlds" to deliver the best possible design.

... to be continued.

Version 2 is much better. Allocated from the middle of the site seems more clearer.

How is one fungible token worth 1% vote of different SP whales ?

This should also help the price of steem go up as there will be less flooding the market from whales powering down their accounts

There will be way less power up because people simply won't have to ....

I find this whole idea to be poorly thought through.
