What would you do if you could have your own whale token?

If creative commons had their own token it would make the implementation of our project much easier. Please checkout the creative commons project here

We as a community share art on the public domain. The art is generously donated by some great artists in the community.

Artshares would be a good way to reward these artists whenever their artwork is used by someone on the blockchain platform. It will make be a befitting tribute to artists that selflessly help build this community

**How would it be distributed? **

Artshares would be given from author to the artist’s bitshares wallet. The amount would depend on the author since the art would be in creative common domain.
It is a way to thank the many wonderful people who work towards building a repository for the steemit community.

Would it need to be purchased? or could it be earned?

These token would not be bought but could only be earned. Having an artshare should be a mark of talent.

Would you build a community around it?

We have an existing community of young and upcoming artists. This would help us ensure that some deserving members got rewards.
