Welcome back to another live curation recap where I talk about the posts that caught my attention this Monday. Surprisingly, it took me a lot longer to choose the posts tonight, I just could not make up my mind or find anything I like really. I hate when that happens, but I don't expect each click of a mouse to be a successful pick either.
Eventually I found the posts I was happy with and I am excited to share them with y'all.
For some weird reason both of them are related to Japan in one way or another. One of the is an origami tutorial and the other one's a haiku, two my favorite things, what a coincidence! Let's talk about it.
The first post I would like to present tonight is from an origami artist that just wrote his first post 3 days ago! Origami rose by @ivan-g. This post is a very detailed tutorial that guides you through the process of making roses out of paper. I love origami, sadly though I am not good at it, BUT I have plenty of origami paper that my husband @matt-a brought me back from Japan last year. I was really excited to have discovered this post because I am probably going to look up some of Ivan's stuff and make my own origami now.
I love how he included photos of about every step of creating a rose and I find it helpful for anyone who is going to attempt and make one, I think it would make a nice and thoughtful gift too. Solid post and a very well explained guide.

My second pick is a haiku. Snowfall - Haiku by @raj808. Simple yet meaningful post by @raj808. After a light snowfall he took a walk in a park which inspired him to compose this short verse:
Snow's brief flurry.
Water's fleet expression
born in the morning.
Pretty good haiku, if you ask me, if you close your eyes or zone out for a few seconds you can almost see the snowy landscapes yourself, perhaps it is going to remind you of your own past or maybe your imagination will draw a little more details and you find yourself in a snowdrift, okay that one was a joke, but I have a weak spot for haiku's, I love their simplicity and how easily it can turn into something complex, if you let it.
Note the last image he took, a little shout-out to Steemit. I wonder if anyone saw it?
This is it for tonight, everyone. It was a great show and it was a pleasure to meet the guest curator of the night who happens to be an experienced OCD curator @anomadsoul.
Please, keep in mind that myself, @lindahas, our new curator @gabchik and kind host @nikflossus are constantly on the look out for undervalued posts out there.
It was a great show, I enjoyed every bit. Thank you

Sometimes it is difficult to have a good idea of content for the blog itself. But calmly, everything works out.

Hi @kotturinn. I'm very new and haven't seen anyone putting together curation posts although I was thinking it was a good idea earlier today. I'm glad to have found your blog because I have been struggling to find a lot of content that I thought was really worth following. So, thank you for offering your curation services, I appreciate all the help I can get in finding quality content crators!

That's great you had the same ideas floating around, well I am curating each Monday for the Whaleshares curation show hosted by @nikflossus and I feel like posting about it is a good way to get the community involved and bring them on board with whaleshares. Check out his show announcement posts and get involved!

It was a good choice, I like the origami used to do things on paper but as a child and now forget it @kotturinn
